FAQs

Can we have a clue?

It’s a five-word sentence related to our 1,000 episode milestone.

Can we use AI? We’d be really disappointed if you let robots have all the fun.

What if I knew the answer but someone beat me at submitting it?

This is a game of skill, smarts and speed. Unfortunately, that means knowing the codewords, their order and having it submitted the soonest.

What if I spell a word wrong?

We’ll approach this on a case by case basis.

For example, if it’s a common typo (E.g. there, their, and they’re) and the meaning of the word is still decipherable, we may accept the submission. But if the word is spelled incorrectly, and the word carries a different meaning to the correct word, we may choose to reject the submission.

Why can't I submit it early if I know the right answer?

This is a game of skill, smarts and speed. It’s not just about getting it right, but right on time.

How many times can I enter?

Just once, my friends. To make this fair, and to avoid spamming, we’ve limited this to one entry per person.

Can someone else enter for me?

Each entry is tied to the corresponding entrant’s details. If someone else enters on your behalf, using your contact details, and wins, the winning entry will be tied to your contact details.
